It is with great honour that I can provide a testimonial for Alison Burrell who served as a celebrant at our wedding in March 2008. It was by chance that we found Alison, and at such a late stage of our wedding preparations. We were absolutely delighted by how patient and flexible Alison was with us throughout a time which was both chaotic and stressful. Alison’s warm and easy going nature made our dealings most pleasurable.

In juggling differences between the two family’s religious expectations and ceremony structure, Alison remained non judgemental and open minded to whatever was important to us. Her support and focus on both Matt and myself gave us a real sense of importance and value.

On what was the most significant day in both our lives thus far, Alison’s contribution was nothing other than positive and supportive. We greatly appreciated her gentle suggestions regarding details that we had not thought of, suggestions that come with great experience in coordinating such large and dynamic productions such as a wedding.

Even with the challenge of a large outdoor ceremony, Alison was able to engage all our guests and presented most professionally. Our ceremony was exactly as we had hoped it would be, so perfectly mastered by Alison, easing the nerves of all who had roles to play in ceremony with her relaxed and humorous direction.
